Dr. Godbole recently completed an Advanced Arthroplasty & Robotics Fellowship at the National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore, with hands-on involvement in over 200 robotic-assisted arthroplasty cases under the Division of Adult Reconstruction & Joint Replacement. He is certified across all four major robotic platforms used in joint replacement surgery — Mako (Stryker), VELYS (DePuy Synthes), CORI (Smith+Nephew), and ROSA (Zimmer Biomet) — a platform-agnostic training background that is uncommon among robotic arthroplasty surgeons.
His training also includes a fellowship in conventional and robotic joint replacement under Dr. Narendra Vaidya at LMF's Lokmanya Hospital, Pune, and a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery under Dr. Shirish Pathak at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, Pune.
He holds dual postgraduate qualifications — MS (Orthopaedic Surgery) from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and DNB (Orthopaedics), cleared in the first attempt — and is currently Assistant Professor, Department of Orthopaedics, at BVP Medical College, Pune.

In May 2023, Dr. Godbole organised the 4th International Symposium on Robotic Joint Replacement (ISRJR) on behalf of LMF's Lokmanya Hospital, held at the J.W. Marriott Hotel, Pune. In 2024, he was invited as a guest speaker at MEGA GPCON, the 34th Annual Conference of the General Practitioners' Association, Pune, to deliver a keynote on robotic joint replacement.
